February 27, 2010. You're going to get us all sick! I got really sick the weekend Andrew and his friend came to go snowboarding. Josh came home from the airport and found out I wasn't feeling well. It sounded like the flu so he told me, "I'm sorry you are sick but you're going to get us all sick! What do I want, boy or girl? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Youre going to get us all sick! Josh and Britt: January 2010
http://brittanynjosh.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
January 27, 2010. 7 Feet in 7 Days, and Josh's Play Dates. January. The coming. Of a new decade. So first things first I had to take down all the Christmas decorations. Noone likes doing this. Josh told me if it's such a hassle we shouldn't put it all up next year. He would probably like this idea quite a bit. So finally I took it all down and put it away. Then I had to reattain the will power I h. The following week it snowed 7 feet in 7 days! This is also when my cousin Erik came to ride. He brough...

Josh and Britt: December 2011
http://brittanynjosh.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
December 7, 2011. Busy, busy, busy! I am going to try to periodically update the blog. So let's just do a little catch. For anyone who hasn't heard Scarlett is having a little brother this Spring! We're due April 3! We'll have one of each, since we only planned on having two, we feel very lucky! Josh was so in disbelief that he actually asked the ultrasound tech to "make sure it is still a boy" at our next appointment. We've also finally set a date for the wedding August 11! Happy Holidays and a Boom!

Josh and Britt: August 2010
http://brittanynjosh.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
August 26, 2010. The appearance of stretch marks and speaking in tongues. We have reached the final countdown until Little Baby Rieske's arrival. With four weeks to go she dropped significantly and along with her move toward the exit came my first stretch marks :( They aren't dark and plentiful, but I thought we were in the clear at this point. Sad days for mommy. Again not thinking I asked, "Who? August 22, 2010. Four weeks and counting. Everything is looking good. Josh hates having pictures taken but a...

Josh and Britt: Mr Stork: Our birth story
http://brittanynjosh.blogspot.com/2010/09/mr-stork-our-birth-story.html
September 29, 2010. Mr Stork: Our birth story. We started pushing at 5:30. It burned, it hurt, but it was all worth the little chubby angel that emerged at 5:43 am. Weighing in at 8 pounds and 14 ounces 20.5 inches tall with pouty lips and constantly trying to suck her hand. Everyone tells you how different your life will be from that moment on and how much you'll love them. You know they are right but uuntil you are in that moment you really don't know just how different and how much you'll love them.

The Smiths: March 2009
http://stephenandjeanne.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. Steve has a job! Boy, it's been a long journey! As most of you know, we have been looking for a job since graduation last May with little luck. He applied to positions all over Tennessee, with the federal government and the Coast Guard, but after 9 months we still hadn't heard a favorable reply. It looked like with the economic downturn we chose a bad year to job search. Finally fed up, Steve started driving up to Fayetteville, TN. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Josh and Britt: Labor Day Weekend Surprises
http://brittanynjosh.blogspot.com/2010/09/labor-day-weekend-surprises.html
September 8, 2010. Labor Day Weekend Surprises. I must confess, when our 36 week check up showed some progress on the baby front, I let my hopes soar. Little Baby Rieske is definitely a product of her parents and let us know she'll do what she wants when she wants. So when Labor Day weekend clocked us in at 38 weeks I was hoping for some labor and delivery action. I had literally just left the group a minute ago. So I asked, "Can it wait 10 minutes until we are done with the dishes? That I do remember ex...

The Smiths: A Beachy Thanksgiving
http://stephenandjeanne.blogspot.com/2009/12/beachy-thanksgiving.html
Monday, December 7, 2009. We celebrated Thanksgiving in Destin. When Steve proposed skipping the usual family Thanksgiving and heading for the beach instead, I was totally on board. We had been away from each other for 3 months and we were eager for our own family time. So, where better to do that than at the beach? But as it got closer we both had a lot of doubts. Going to Florida meant not being with the Izatts. I'll never look at Thanksgiving Day the same again! I have been to Destin. We would go back...
