Fire and Ice — One of My Favorite Poems. October 8, 2014. Remains one of my all-time favorite poems, penned by Robert Frost. 1874-1963), who happens to be my favorite poet. It is a short poem, consisting only of a few lines, and yet packed with so much meaning and firepower that adding another paragraph or couple of lines would have ruined its searing effect or trivialized its impact. Some say the world will end in fire,. Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire. I hold with those who favor fire.
