She eats and sleeps very well and smiles and laughs and gets excited when her dada comes home from work. If you hold your arms out for her she'll run to you and hug you if she knows you. Friday, July 2, 2010. After a long flight we are finally home and happy to be here. Couldn't stomach the food on the flight other than the first meal so we're pretty hungry and of course are very tired. Ellie is settling in just fine so far and seems to actually like the cats and Nico. Jet leg is awful of course - let's see how long it takes to go away this time! July 2, 2010 at 6:52 PM. The Adventures of Lizzie Beth. Saturday, April 24, 2010. It is hard to believe that Elizabeth is almost three years old! She has been bringing joy to our family for almost 22 months now. She is potty trained finally - okay she still needs a diaper at night. Every day she learns more and more. She can count up to 30 with prompting, recognizes numbers and can say the alphabet and also recognizes all the upper case letters. Amazingly she even recognizes some words and can "read" them! We love her sooo much!

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. One Year with Isabella! Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Isabella's final post placement visit was yesterday and I think we are good to go! Our wonderful social worker is retiring soon so she brought along her replacement. We really like her too which is good since there will be many more post placement visits for Abbie. Friday, August 7, 2009. On Monday I had the final phone interview for the 12 month report. Today I sent the photos and update to Holt and our new social worker will be sending off the report soon. This is the last step needed in Elizabeth's adoption! So far this is the extent of my potty training. My famous smile again!
