Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Maine was so much fun, we went to Cadillac Mtn for the sunrise one morning, spent a day looking for sand dollars at my moms favorite beach- Back Beach, walked some trails, watched the moon rise, ate lobster, has a fish and shrimp fry, shopped. Shannon spent a week with us in July camping. She loves it and we love having her. I have to say though she's 8 going on 28! Friday, October 18, 2013. I don't go to many funerals but felt the need for this one, she touched my heart. Congratulations to Marine graduate Jake! He's the son of friends and graduated at Parris Island today, coming home for a week then off to Pensicola, Fl. He has an aunt nearby down there and his great grandmother who is 100 yrs young. Monday, January 27, 2014. Jim and I have been cleaning, only 2 bedrooms left- guest room and Shannon's. Shannon's just needs a vacuum leaner and dust rag but the guest room needs help, been putting things in there that I don't know what to do with. Scrubbed the kitchen this weekend, I did cupboards inside and out, jim did floor when I was done. So time to get back to cleaning and get dinner started. Hugs and Prayers to all. Monday, August 5, 2013. Most of you know that Lauren and I have had a few issues regarding my granddaughter Olive, well she's coming around. She's actually sent me pictures recently and is back on facebook. They are trying to potty train her. I'm hopeful we can take her in the near future. I'm getting old- I have my first great neice - my brothers son had a baby girl last week- Kaydence Marie, she has my middle name. It's hard to believe I have nephews old enough to have kids! Friday, 23 January 2015. Friday, 16 January 2015. Final Piece and Drafting. I scanned my drawing of the outline into Photoshop. I changed the gradient so it was solid black lines and then deleted the white background. I used the lasso tool to select a leaf outline. I selected them all individually and coloured them individually with different shades of green. Once I had finished colouring the leaves, I coloured the ladybird in the same way. I deleted a section out of the back page to use for the blurb.
