The Drum Down Under. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. This month can be summed up with three things: our church's production of Fiddler on the Roof (which Eric and I participated in), Getting excited about Halloween, and enjoying the beauty of Fall. In no particular order here are a few pictures and memories. Trip to the zoo. There was an elephant behind us that convienietly had moved by the time we were ready to take a picture. Crusin' in the bike trailer. In matching jammies. Thanks Grandma Porter! Jess and ...

The Drum Down Under. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Ava on her 3rd birthday! Ava had lots of fun for her birthday and birthday party. Both Eric and I put a lot of effort into making birthday memories for her.I feel that as a parent there is so much joy in making memories and seeing your Child's face light up with excitement. So the morning of Ava's birthday Eric put together a treasure hunt with picture clues leading to where her birthday presents were hidden. Lots of happy memories! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Drum Down Under. Thursday, July 24, 2014. A couple of cute girls. Much has happened for our family in recent months. Life has been wonderful, and busy. I figured I should do a little catch up because in the next few days you will likely see a blog post announcing the arrival of our baby boy. The Drum Down Under: September 2014
http://cherylanderic.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
The Drum Down Under. Sunday, September 21, 2014. Even the best laid plans can happen different than you expected. I find this is especially true for having a baby. You try to make plans, adjust your plans, make new plans, readjust,.etc. Because I had been having so much false labor I didn't know when the real thing was happening. I was six days past my due date when my contractions started to pick up, but by that time I had resolved that my large belly was just a permanent fixture. This is what Eric look...

The Drum Down Under. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Sometimes things just work out! I often wish I had more pictures of my family when we are dressed up for church. Usually it doesn't happen because kids are having melt downs and need to take a nap,. Or I don't have a camera,. Or my two-year old refuses to let us take her picture. This Sunday, however, I had my camera, my kids were happy, and a kind person offered to take a picture of my whole family. Sometimes things just work out! Hiking at Deception Pass.

The Drum Down Under. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. The Toddler Comb Over. Ava's hair is thick, shiny, and curly. It's gorgeous! And sadly the only common characteric between my hair and hers is the color. A couple weeks ago I woke up early so I could curl my hair before church, then Ava woke up in her mess of curls. Eric made the comment, "Hey your hair looks the same, only you've been working all morning and Ava just rolls out of bed.". This was after and entire day in chlorine water, still looks perfect!
