The notes indicate that David wrote this Psalm, possibly during the time when his son, Absalom, was in open rebellion. Absalom had fled from Jerusalem after killing his brother. After several years, David finally brought Absalom back to Jerusalem, but it was another two years before Absalom actually saw King David. At first glance this seems like a joke.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014. We couldn't let this big of birthday go by without some sort of celebration. So, we decided to go all out and celebrate it 3 times! Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Joel took a week off this summer in early June. We were able to spend a little over half the week at Big Star Lake and then a long weekend in Holland. It was wonderful and super relaxing. A day trip to Traverse City and Mission Point. Seeing cousins and extended family. Kyper catching his first fish- 12 inch bass. Date night in Holland while grandparents babysat. Kayaking Pigeon creek to Lake Michigan with Aren, Leah, Tim and Melanie. Anja sailing with Joel and Grandpa P.
