We have been living in Simi Valley, CA for about 2 years now and decided to look for a house of our own. After looking at a few short sales, we came across a home where the people were relocating (sound familiar) out of state. We should close on the house in late September and move in. We are in the same community so the kids will still attend the same school. WE are in transition. 2011 has been an action packed year for us. Lots of family visits. Some things didn’t change. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Lehman Caves - Again. Here are some pics from our second trip to the Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park. It's just a few hours northwest from our house on the border of Utah and Nevada. It's about 30 miles south of Ely, Nevada - if you know where that is. Sorry there are so many pictures of the cave, I just couldn't pick the best ones. They are all totally awesome. I'm not "super-imposed" on this one. I know, we had you going there for a second. We had two nights in Cinque Terre, so we spent one full day exploring Bonassola and the town just to the south, Monterosso, which we accessed by train. Here is the view from our hotel window and balcony. Isn't the Mediterranean gorgeous! We enjoyed perfect beautiful weather there. Hiking down to the beach. SO GOOD. Words just can't describe it.

The Great Adventures of Bigs and Littler. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. DAY 1: Course Racing. Starting Line. can you spot Bigs? DAY 2: Downwind Racing. The wind was blowing even stronger, 30 and the swell was gigantic. It doesn't get any better than 8 miles of downwind surfing! Here we are at the start of the race. Bigs went home with 2nd place in the Men's 12'6" Open Class. Littler was 3rd for Women! Princess Fiona was 4th in the Women's Elite Class. and she's only 15! We love this girl! Dr Josh and Maggie.
