After a few weeks of letting them fall, we finally succombed to the raking. Reed adored sitting in the huge piles, and was Daddy's little helper with the rake towards the end. Reed had his 18-month check-up on October 11, so I'm a couple weeks behind there! But after this, I really will be ALL caught up. Monday, December 31, 2012. Reed loves his new Radio Flyer Flying Saucer from Uncle Rob and Aunt B! Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel. Who knew a falling dreidel could be so funny? Thanksgiving has never been my favorite holiday. Yes, the food is yummy, but it's always had the feeling of the "also ran" holiday for me - a few weeks before Christmas/Hanukkah, a four day break instead of two weeks, no gifts (and let's be honest - I've always LOVED the gifts, both giving and receiving!

This is a blurry picture, but that is because Colin walked into the gym for the first time! Until now he could walk with assistance or by holding onto something every 5-10 steps. We started what will hopefully become a new tradition with friends in our neighborhood. We hosted a Christmas Caroling Hayride with friends from our LifeGroup who live in our neighborhood. We had a great weekend in Longview at the annual Quinn family reunion. Saturday was a fun-filled day beginning with brunch and playtime at Larry and Beverly's house Saturday, dinner and water fun at the splash park, followed by the balloon festival that evening. We had a great time visiting family for Easter! We went to the fair, had an egg hunt, went to church, and played at Gigi and Pop's house. Hunter didn't realize he was supposed to look for the brightly colored eggs instead of the egg-shaped rocks lining the flower bed. I'm sure he thought he hit the jackpot! Kyle had to work and missed the festivities at the square as part of the Christmas Stroll, but I took the kids and we had fun! We saw the live nativity and the kids rode the train. I see my teeny tiny 5 pound, 15 ounce beautiful baby girl staring straight at her daddy, the best husband I could ever ask for. I see my sweet little Carley looking straight at the man who is now wrapped around her little finger. The Great Adventures of Bigs and Littler. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. DAY 1: Course Racing. Starting Line. can you spot Bigs? DAY 2: Downwind Racing. The wind was blowing even stronger, 30 and the swell was gigantic. It doesn't get any better than 8 miles of downwind surfing! Here we are at the start of the race. Bigs went home with 2nd place in the Men's 12'6" Open Class. Littler was 3rd for Women! Princess Fiona was 4th in the Women's Elite Class. and she's only 15! We love this girl! Dr Josh and Maggie.
