Wednesday, January 14, 2009. I like neither of my pictures but if I had to choose, I would pick the second photo. I think that it creates a sad mood to it. Thursday, November 13, 2008. The stump has a line of the tree that leads us to the man on top. The fog in the back and the color of the photograph create a mood of melancholy he is feeling. The strong edge of the contrast of the twigs and branches create a darkness that’s a bit frightening. This photograph shows us and reminds us of the chaos the world brings. Every time a photographer chooses to cut something out of his/her frame, before they snap the photo that is in essence cropping. We also have learned tools on Photoshop that allow us to crop an image after we have taken it. When cropping in Photoshop it is possible to improve our composition or change it completely.
