These are beautiful times. From the Purple Notebook. My #50bookpledge of 2015. For the past two years (2014 and 2015), I’ve taken part in the 50 Book Pledge. Setting the goal of reading 50 books a year. A rather hefty goal, I must admit, but it’s mostly just to motivate myself to read more. Could you believe that two years ago, I barely read for fun? The time has come for me to do a recap of all the books I read in 2016. I once again took on the 50 Book Pledge. Aiming to read 50 books, as I did last year. I ended up reading 42 books out of 50, which is a few shy of the 50, but still pretty good. I got to read some books that had been on my TBR list for years and years (. Revisited old favourites (.

These are beautiful times. From the Purple Notebook. Hello there. The following is a recap of my 2015. I know this is kinda late, since it’s already the end of January, but it’s more for me to look back and see just how much has happened in the past year. And. Has happened. So here goes. Driving to and parki...

These are beautiful times. From the Purple Notebook. Of Fairy Tales and Retellings. So March has come and gone with nary a blog post from me in sight, neither about Olympic figure skating (such controversy! Nor about, well, anything else. I’m a bit sad about that, but since I’m home sick today (a suspected stomach virus), I can catch up on lost time and finally, finally, FINALLY write the post I’ve been hinting at and meaning to write since the beginning of the year! 8211; A modern retelling of.
