I'm proud of the fact that for my first major ride of the season that I was able to ride the furthest I've ever ridden. The Mountain Goat last year had been the furthest at 42 miles. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Back on the Bike. The days are getting longer and the temps are getting warmer.hooray! It's finally time to get back on the bike and squeeze my fatass back into my riding shorts! I got a good ride about 2 weekends ago, myself and a friend put in just over 20 miles riding the BOT loop. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. BOT Date 09.30.2008. Today's BOT ride was just like any other.just me and Michael and the random other cyclist who still show up! However there was one slight difference in today's ride versus others. The scenery was outstanding, probably the best we've had on these rides! Those of you who chose not to come certainly missed out. Total Distance: 19.05 miles. Average Speed: 15.2 mph. Max Speed: 36.5 mph. Max Grade: 13.9%. Here is the map of this ride. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. WOW 2008 is about over. Well it is amazing but 2008 is about to be over. By taking up this new sport I learned how to drop weight really quickly. I also learned how to put it back on as well(just stop riding and keep eating bad stuff and see what happens). All of that and some YMCA workouts thrown in as well as my normal baseball routine and I am hoping for a dramatic health/weight change in 2009. Wish me luck. December 18, 2008 at 9:52 AM.
