Paul and Katie Van Heukelom. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Ruby's First Dance Recital. Ruby participated in her first year of dance this year. She loved it. Four of her preschool friends were also in her dance class which was very special. The Iowa City area isn't all that big, but it sure made me feel like we live in a very small town, having 5 girls in the same preschool class randomly in the same dance class! Paul and Katie Van Heukelom. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Ruby's busy birthday week! Ruby turned FOUR on December 17th! She requested an "Octonauts" birthday theme. She had quite the fun and busy birthday week. It started on the Saturday before her actual birthday. She had her first "friends party" which was held at Synergy Gymnastics. Ruby and Jace both take gymnastics classes at this gym and they put on a great birthday party as well! Jace tried very hard to keep up with the older kids! Lauren, Zoe, Elsa.

Paul and Katie Van Heukelom. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Annie was baptized on May 31st. We held it the same weekend as Ruby's dance recital so my family could come for both events. Papa Gary was able to baptize Annie and my dad was the participating elder which was very special for our family. Annie wore the same dress as all the Van Heukelom girls. Sydney, Ruby, and now Annie. She looked so precious in it, I kept her in it all day long. I don't think she seemed to mind. ;). View my complete profile.

Paul and Katie Van Heukelom. Monday, February 16, 2015. Jace turned TWO on February 9th. Yes, only two, little one! When you ask him how old he is, you never know what number he is gonna tell you! Usually 4 or 8! Jace is a sweet little guy but lacks in the patience department! Somehow (and luckily, I should add! He always put the charm back on just in time! He loves that his big sis sleeps in his room with him! And for the most part, they get along great. Ruby reading to Jace ;). Proof they can share ;).

Paul and Katie Van Heukelom. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Spring.has it really come and gone already? Well since summer is already half over, and Paul informed me tonight that I have a bit to catch up on. I thought I better blog about spring. Apparently, I'm in denial that time is moving so fast and spring is already over! So here are a bunch of pictures that share some of spring's highlights. The Sunday School kids at church held a trash clean up day. Our "double stroller" ;). Charlie, Ruby, and Lauren.
