My second tattoo was acquired a few years ago when I visited Diane about a year before her death, but well into her knowledge that she was dying. That was a great trip full of wonderful memories and time spent just enjoying each other. She and I laughed and talked the entire time I was being inked, and it is still one of my fondest memories of her.
