Tuesday, February 7, 2012. 1 tsp baking powder. 500 g soft cheese. 200 g white chocolate. 180 g mixed berries(frozen). 100 ml fresh cream. 0,5 tsp cinnamon). 180 g mixed berries. Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form,gradually add 1/3sugar while still whisking.It is ready when egg whites hold its shape on the spoon. Mix egg yolks with 2/3 of sugar until its doubled. Gently fold egg yolks into the egg whites.Sieve in the flour,mix as little as possible until its combined. Cut the base into 3 circles.

Thursday, July 28, 2011. White Chocolate and Raspberry Sundae with Meringues. 200 ml fresh cream. 200 g white chocolate. Juice of the half lemon. Bring the cream to boil,take off the heat and add the chopped chocolate,let stand for 1 minute and then stir until completely smooth.Squeeze in the lemon juice. Warm vanilla ice cream in its container until just easy to scoop. Fill 4 sundae dishes with two of ice cream scoops. Scatter raspberries onto the ice cream and meringues on top. Saturday, March 3, 2018. Warm Coronation Chicken with Rice. 4 boneless chicken breasts. 1 small onion,sliced. 1 tbsp olive oil. 2 shallots,finely chopped. 2 tsp curry powder. 2 tsp tomato puree. Juice of half lemon. 150 ml natural yogurt or sour cream. 2 tbsp fresh parsley,chopped. Place the chicken breasts into the large sauce pan with the bay leaf,onion and carrot. Cover with water and add 1/2 tsp salt and the peppercorns. Remove from the heat,lift the chicken breast out onto the plate and allow to cool.

Perjantai 3. huhtikuuta 2015. Lepaalta Islantiin on yllättävän lyhyt matka! On perheyrityksenä toimiva tomaattitila noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Reykjavikista. Fridheimarissa kasvatetaan kirsikka-, luumu- ja "tavallisia" tomaatteja vuoden ympäri neljässä suuressa kasvihuoneessa, jotka lämpiävät geotermisellä energialla, eli Islannin tuliperäisen maan syvyyksien lämmöllä. Tuossa yläkuvassa sitä höyryä tulla tupruttaa. Ja nämä kasvihuoneet eivät ole pieniä, vaan tuhansien neliöiden kokoisisa! Ainakin hyvin...
