Roxy's Progress: October 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 23, 2006. Hello out there,. I have been back to Kingston Hospital. My ears got infected again. My temperature had been up and down for a few days last week, and then at my 10 o'clock feed Dad noticed it was very high, when we got to the hospital it was 39.6C! Poor Dad only got home at 3 am. The nurses and doctors know me now and they quickly got me onto the right antibiotics and within 48 hours I was back to normal and ready to come home. I have had to have 2 injections in my legs, 1 toda...

http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 30, 2006. There is a lady in America who is a 9/10 match! Happy, happy days! We're still waiting for the remaining 4 samples to be tested further so there might still be a 100% match out there. If not, we're told that they there is a very good chance of success with a 9/10 match. We'll let you know more when we hear it. Posted by Roxy at 1:18 PM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Posted by Roxy at 12:14 PM. Sunday, June 25, 2006. We were also copied in on a letter from Dr Davies (GOSH) to Dr Al Wahab ...

Roxy's Progress: December 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 28, 2006. I trust you all had a great Xmas. Father Xmas was able to find me at GOSH and brought me a couple of toys from the hospital, and a silver rattle from m&d - it came in a turquoise bag and box, with the word Tiffany's on the side, I hope Tiffany doesn't mind that I have her rattle. M&d tell me I have lots of presents at home, and to say thank you to everyone.'Thank you everyone! I'll open them when I get the chance. Posted by Roxy at 3:13 PM. Thursday, December 21, 2006. I have...

Roxy's Progress: February 2007
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 25, 2007. We had some really good news on Friday. The results of my third engraftment test showed that I am still 100% donor marrow. That means the transplant is still a complete success! Yippee, I certainly couldn't go through all of this again, and I don't think m&d could either ("Too right Roxy! M&d) The doctors say that if I stay this way for another 3 months then the risk of failure is vastly reduced. Tick tock, tick tock! We don't talk openly about the horrors of the DUR, and on th...

Roxy's Progress: September 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 30, 2006. I am home again now. That makes Dad very happy, he says he doesn't like it when we stay over in hospital and neither do I. I am now sitting by myself! I sat for a full minute in hospital which made m&d so happy. Now that I'm home I like to sit up and play with my toys. I'm also really enjoying being in my bouncy harness, I like to spin around and kick my legs - its cool! Posted by Roxy at 4:11 AM. Sunday, September 24, 2006. We have also had some good news. The donor has...

Roxy's Progress: November 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 29, 2006. I had a good morning, I felt so good I smiled a lot at mommy and at Andrew - the trainee nurse, not Andrew the dad . I still don't get it! I then had a little sleep, on my side for a change. Dad and granny must have arrived while I was asleep because I see there are a few new pictures of me sleeping on the jabbitt.com website, what a cheek! GvHD is the opposite of 'Graft rejection' which is where my tissue thinks the donor tissue is an infection and tries to kill it off.

Roxy's Progress: August 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 24, 2006. Its been a while since my last post, and I see from all the emails m&d have been getting that this has not gone unnoticed! I have had to go into hospital again as I picked up an ear infection and my temperature went quite high. They doctors aren't worried, as my temperature has come down again, but they are giving me some stronger antibiotics to make sure the infection heals quickly. I met a new doctor, Sebastian, he was very good and got the cannula into my arm in 1 go!

Roxy's Progress: July 2006
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 19, 2006. We had a good trip to GOSH today! We met so many new people. First of all mommy met some old friends: Nettie (BMT Nurse), Lucy(Immunology Nurse) and Marianne (dietician). The good news here was that I am now officially a five kaygee fatty, that's right I've broken the 5kg barrier! Yippee, you should see my chubby arms and legs, mommy and daddy are always pinching them, it tickles and makes me laugh. Dr Veys was very kind and patient and he began to explain all the options and de...

Roxy's Progress: January 2007
http://roxysprogress.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 29, 2007. I have had a very good day today. I was feeling very strong after a good sleep this afternoon. I sat with vigour and smiled until my cheeks ached! But I did have a mini-temperature last night, and my breathing was a bit laboured so the doctors decided I should have a chest x-ray this morning to be sure there was nothing lurking in my lungs. It came back all clear . again, but that's good news. I am getting steadily better, but its very frustrating that progress is so slow. Today...

Of what's been happening:. Let me summarize some of the other things that have happened since my last post:. My oxygen leve...
