Thursday, March 29, 2012. Cover of my sketchbook that got into Best of Ringling! Will post some sketchbook pages soon. I tried doing something new here: a semi-quick (5 hours worth give or take) concept art type piece for a fictional animated movie. Painted directly in photoshop over a sketch. Posted by Amanda Erb. Amanda Erb: A Whirlybird Ride
http://amandaerb.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-whirlybird-ride.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Some illustrations (mostly full spreads) from A Whirlybird Ride. The children's book I illustrated this past month. This was a lot of fun to illustrate and definitely a great learning experience. I did quite a bit of research on helicopters and how to illustrate them. I was also able to illustrate a lot of scenic views which was great learning experience in itself. it helps that I currently live in an area with a lot of open fields and pastures. 169; Teresa S. Amanda Erb: May 2012
http://amandaerb.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Here's a 3 page comic I did as one of my finals for class about a poor little bookworm and the literary hero that saves her! Can you guess who it is? First time doing a sequential-type piece. It was a lot of fun and I would like to experiment and do more sequential pieces in the future for sure. Posted by Amanda Erb. Links to this post.
