Burdened Bookshelves: The Heir
http://burdenedbookshelves.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-heir.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Important note: the following review will contain names, character descriptions, and limited events from the books. It will not include any devastating spoilers.*. The sweetest guy award goes to Henri, who only speaks Finnish. While the language barrier is a definite problem, his kind nature and sincerity make him a front runner. He so obviously cares about Eadlyn, it's obvious he would do anything for her. On top of all of those great qualities, he's also an amazing co...The unexp...

Monday, May 25, 2015. This book is such a trip. The world that the characters live in is thrilling and amazing. Every moment of this story is suspenseful and engaging. Kelley Armstrong does a wonderful job of bringing the characters and creatures alive in this novel. Her writing is well thought out and extremely compelling. I don't read a lot of fantasy, but this work won me over. Gavril is a bit of a bully. He likes to get his own way, and pushes people around to get it. He's handsome, and he kn...Ronan...

Jaime's Blog: March 2011
http://jaimesolisblog.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 7, 2011. A huge lesson to learn from Paul. In a city full of plenty of money people could go out and earn if they'd like to, in a city full of legal and encouraged prostitution for the sake of worshiping the goddess of the Ephesians Diana: God landed in about 50 AD to totally rock the city. This church boomed, it grew fast. Many were coming to know Jesus in this heathen town, many were exposed to and experienced miracles. Many lives were changed by the hearing of God's word, so much...Event...

Jaime's Blog: October 2013
http://jaimesolisblog.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 14, 2013. Two years in Billings. Today marks two years since we moved to. To help start the Fresh Life campus in our city. It’s been such an adventure and a huge honor to be a part of what God is doing here. It’s amazing to think that we really haven’t done much to cause the growth and impact at our campus. Really I can nail down 3 things I’ve noticed we have done that has caused for our church to ‘work’. We tremble before God’s word. Faithfulness: All we’ve ever done is show up.

Jaime's Blog: Grandpa
http://jaimesolisblog.blogspot.com/2012/01/grandpa.html
Wednesday, January 4, 2012. It was about a week ago that I got the call at 6am. My dad had let me know that my grandpa had passed away earlier in the morning. I thanked my dad for letting me know and hung up the phone. For the next 24 hours I pushed the news out of my head, avoiding grief and avoiding over thinking it all. I avoided talking to my family because I had fears. So as I drove passed the Burger King the day after getting the news of his passing, it stunned me, and I could no longer hide the fe...

Sunday, May 17, 2015. On Being A Lonely Missionary. Has God ever called you to do something for Him that had led you to a place where you felt alone? Using Paul as the example, he couldn't have been any more right. What is important to keep in perspective is that loneliness is a feeling. Some feelings are good but some feelings are unhealthy and dangerous. Some feelings are traps in disguise set by the devil as he aims to pull you down and hold you back from what God would like to do through you.

Monday, May 30, 2011. How I Came to Christ. I actually wrote this back in Sept. 2009 but figured it would be appropriate to post how I came to Christ on my blog*. 8220;Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”. I came back, and a few weeks later I had an episode so strong that I literally thought that I...

Jaime's Blog: We knew it was bound to happen someday.. pt.1
http://jaimesolisblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/we-knew-it-was-bound-to-happen-someday.html
Tuesday, July 20, 2010. We knew it was bound to happen someday. pt.1. Remember the story where God had told Abram to leave his country and head somewhere totally foreign and new? What would you think if God told you to 'Leave' the land that you're used to for a place that you've never been to? How would you feel? Today I am one of the many that can answer that question and give you a genuine answer: Terrified. It all started in 2007. A Promise in 2007. July 20, 2010 at 5:29 PM. Man what a way to leave us...
