Jack at Pauls Place. Welcome to Jack Shanahan’s web site. Jack works almost exclusively in felt pens, drawing strong black outlines and then filling the spaces with fields of colour. He likens some of his drawings to stained glass, setting colour against colour to see how they react to each other and how they can suggest three-dimensional space and form.
