Our adventure through life. Almost forgot to post the giant class turkey my class and their families made this year! Every November I send home a giant feather that each family decorates and we put them on a big turkey in the hallway. This year Tom turned out great! Posted on December 1, 2012. So Wednesday afternoon after he did rounds and saw patients we hit the road to surprise my family in Wisconsin! We did not tell anyone we were coming and boy was it fun to surprise everyone🙂. The grown up table🙂.

Our adventure through life. Catch Up – Fall 2013. Fall started with a new challenge for me, a new classroom and a change of schedule! Instead of teaching full day pre-school I now teach 2 half day classes and so far I am loving it! I have 20 children in my morning class and 20 children in my afternoon class and the classroom is a dream room! Our adventure through life. Early December was super busy for us:. We started off December with our annual tradition of cutting down our Christmas tree. Found the perfect one. Blake cuts it down. December 17, 2014. And I had a baby. Clearly time has gotten away from me. I don't forget about blogging, it's seriously on my mind all the time. I however let guilt get me where I think "but I need to load the dishwasher, I don't NEED to blog.". I might need to change that. Let's start simple, HEY I HAD A BABY! I was induced a week early. December 26, 2013. 2013 has been the best for our little family. Seriously, the best! Jack rocks at medical school. It is hard, and he does study all the time. Colt recognizes the school as Daddy's permanent location. Even when we are all in the car and just driving by, that's where Daddy exists. July 4, 2015. Guys, we went to Disneyland. To nobody's surprise, it was awesome! I did it all, matching shirts, brought the stroller, photopass the works. WORTH. IT. Cars Land. Slow clap Disney. Truly magical. Enough that my 4 year old that struggles with language woke up one morning and insisted that we go there and that he liked it. I don't ever get conversation like that with him really, and this made me tear up a little bit. This is the ultimate win. If you make it to the bottom, I included a gem.

June 1, 2015. We eat peanut butter. Lots of it. Around here peanut butter is always of plentiful supply. I stopped buying smaller jars and we just buy the giant canisters now. Usually, a peanut butter sandwich request is accompanied with a short round of "peanut butter jelly time." Usually, he will substitute jelly with whatever co-condiment he would like. They rented a pavilion, where we had lunch. They also had a magician walking around, and face-painting. The boys were pumped about the face-painting! They both wanted dragons for some reason.and they turned out pretty cool! Next stop was the petting zoo. The goats were super friendly! We rode the sky lift in the African part.
