Saturday, August 4, 2012. I occasionally make goals and work toward them but it is so frustrating to me when I don't meet a goal or deadline that most of the time I kind of live by the seat of my pants and I like it that way. My house gets kind of messy but eventually I get around to straightening it and in the mean time I have fun conversations with sisters, children, friends, and dogs. That reminds me of that song "I'm easy like Sunday morning." Are Sunday mornings easy around your house?

Welcome to my moss. Monday, April 29, 2013. A new place to lay. For all of the years we have had chickens, they have laid their eggs in an ancient laying box. Well, maybe not ancient, but really old. More than fifty years ago Daryl's family had laying hens and this was one of the boxes from way back then. But, those boxes were made for big egg production and the spaces were cramped and dark. Our chickens deserve better. So, with some help from Jonathan and Daniel,. That is my favorite part.

And its headliner is the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby. This is a "design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats" per their website. Jackie's Summer of 2005. A dream finally realized. I will be working in Denali National Park. In a gift shop from May 17th until September 14th. The gift shop is in the Denali Bluffs Hotel. Jane and my dog, Coallie and cat, Oliver joined me on the 14 day drive from Sonora in a 1990 Bounder (34 foot) pulling my car with bikes on the back. Since I had not driven the RV before it was a challenge, especially in gas stations and in parking lots which we avoided as much as possible.
