Friday, 30 May 2014. Pilot for a morning. I finally got to do my birthday pressie from Lee today. I got to pilot a hovercraft! After a safety briefing and trial run it was all systems go! We were told that we could go as FAST as we liked! I needed no second telling and gave it as much wellie as I could. It's all about body weigh (apparently). Much harder to turn than it looks. Thursday, 26 February 2015. It's not often that I actually dedicate a page to myself. My focus tends to be my kids, family and friends. I get in a photo every now and again. This layout however is about me. I'm a very proud Beaver Scout leader and worked hard to achieve my "wood beads" which were awarded to me at County Renewal of Promise in April last year. Wednesday, 24 September 2014. Scrap and Play challenge no.10. I've just found a new blog and their current challenge is to create a layout with a list of 10. It could be based on anything, so digging through my stash searching for what I knew I had somewhere, I found my pocket with 10 "I love" strips in. Wednesday, 31 December 2014. So lets do it all over again! Boxing Day has tended to be spent at John and Barbara's for as long as I've been with Lee and ever other year, Lisa, Greg and the twins join us, so this year there was 13 of us! Wednesday, 22 July 2015. End of an era. Time goes by so quickly. Today, after 8 years of being there, Alexander spent his last day at Blenheim Primary school. There were tears galore from everyone - children, parents and the teachers. Alexander and his teacher Mr Shaw. Yr 6 teacher Mrs Wiley. Yr 6 teacher Mrs Bulpitt. Yr 6 teacher Mr Taylor. Alexander and his girlfriend of many years - Rebecca George. He's really going to miss her the most. And to think, I've got to go through this two more times!

I've always been a Sci-Fi fan - Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5 etc etc even before I met Lee, so when the opportunity arose a good few years back to go to Collectamania in Milton Keynes and meet Brent Spiner - that's Data from Star Trek to those not in the know, my favourite character from Star Trek, I jumped at the chance! For the last God knows how many years, twice a year Mum and I depart for Theobalds Hotel in Hertfordshire to spend the weekend with some lovely ladies, scrapbooking ALL weekend! Tuesday, 28 April 2015. One photo, 20 words. It's all about the shoes. Nicholas' passion has always been football, however he also enjoys his swimming. So much so that his hard work paid off recently when he was selected as the only child in the Academy squad at SOS (Southend Swimming Club) to join with some other students in a team to enter the Braintree swimming gala.
