041的旅行日记/ 041's Travel Journal. Tuesday, September 25, 2001. Eric很热心地收留了我，让我在他的房间打地铺，他说这样我就可以省下住宿费，快点存够钱去旅行。不但如此，他还到处帮我打听周末的兼职，以便我可以更快赚取旅费。 今天我在火车站附近找到这间泰国餐馆Taste of Asia，刚好他们就只需要星期五和星期六晚上的楼面兼职，我当然是有杀错没放过，这个周末就马上班。 于是，我和Eric成了好朋友，白天他往大学跑，我则去餐馆上班；下班回家后我们就看书看VCD，或者聊天聊梦想聊人生计划，也分享彼此的长距离恋情心得。 我觉得好像从新认识这位朋友，我们中学时一起寄宿在学校宿舍里，却不曾如此深入聊天过，反而来到老远的英国才有这样的缘分。他说我的经历和故事给他很大的启发，让他觉得人实在应该要有梦想。我觉得他果然慧眼识英雄，于是答应他一定会把他写进我的游记。 我从未想过自己可以以这样的方式启发别人，倒是觉得自己在这几个星期得到很多人生的启发，生活变得越来越丰富，也越来越好玩。 Eric and 041 041 the bartender. 当然，...

Tuesday, November 27, 2001. 好久没打电话给女友了，今天给她拨个电话，竟然冷场，没什么话题。 我长这么大，已不是第一次经营长距离恋情了，虽说有经验，但还是难免会手忙脚乱。不管愿不愿意面对，我想我们的感情的确起了变化，空间加上时间的距离，是不是真的会让感情变质？ 最近在看霍金的书，觉得那个量子力学里的测不准定理（The Uncertainty Principle）很有意思。测不准定理讲的是当我们用越精准的方法量测微粒的特性或行径，则会对微粒原本的特性或行径影响越大，反而量测不到微粒的“真面目”。 我在想，人与人之间的关系是不是也有其测不准定理？当我们很努力地想维持甚至控制一段感情时，会不会因为我们用力过度而造成弹性疲乏，反而会失去原有的感觉？ 虽然长距离恋情会让人牵肠挂肚，但现在的我却越来越肯定自己的路，就算让我重新再做一次抉择，我也会选择出走――旅行看世界对我而言已经不再只是开开眼界，而是我目前生命中最重要的东西。 Thursday, November 22, 2001. Friday, August 31, 2001. 我从网路上找到这家果园的征聘通告，拨电话过去确定后，我决定试一试。虽然朋友都说在果园工作很辛苦，叫我要想清楚才好，但在我的想象中，在果园打工应该是很快乐的事吧，可以和大自然融为一体，又可以边採边吃，而且我觉得凡是都得自己亲身经历才有意思啊，总不行别人说两句负面的话就退缩。 维特果园（Wither’s Fruit Farm），位于一个叫做Ledbury的小镇，从地图其位置是伦敦西边靠近威尔斯（Wales）边境的地方，从伦敦出发必须转一次火车才到达。 今晚又要整理背包了，因为明天将会带着所有家当离开伦敦。嗯，其实只要一天没有找到安定的工作和住所，每一次的出发都得这样“大工程”收拾行李，不过还好我全副身家也只不过一个大背包和一个中背包，总重量不超过20公斤。 Thursday, August 30, 2001. 伦敦也许是很多人的旅行首选，我却对这个商贸金融时尚饮食旅游娱乐都蓬勃兴盛的国际大都市没有太强烈的好感，至少不是我想住下来的地方。 华人在外国好像就离不开餐馆、杂货店和旅行社这...
