A USB light plugged into and powered by a prototype (9v, USB) Jacklamp Caddy. Under desk, daylight with flash photo! Existing USB or Firewire laptop LED lights may be plugged into the Jacklamp Caddy jack and used independently of your computer as a handheld light. Or stationary lamp with the caddy as a base. This rig limits you, however, to red or white light and only a half meter reach. This USB light has 8 LEDs and is just a little brighter than the 20-24 cd Jacklamp!
