Sunday, June 17, 2012. Family Vacation to Galveston. Our little family was able to take a mini family vacation this past week. We decided to go to Galveston Island, Texas which is located about 5 hours southeast of DFW. Here is a pic of the outside of the condo we were able to rent:. Monday, October 8, 2012. In September we were able to take a family road trip to Utah and Idaho to visit each of our families. On the trip there we were stopped for about 2 hours in the canyon outside of Moab due to an overturned truck. MJ kept wanting to take a picture of this "rock." So I told her if she stood in front of it I would take a pic of it:. After taking it MJ and I were looking at the pic on my camera and I look up to see this:. He could not get any cuter. :). Every year Eric's grandma "moore" has all her kids and grandkids over on Christmas Eve for the family christmas party. The kids draw names and exchange gifts, Grandma always gives the kids gifts plus money. and the adults play white elephant exchange. We also always eat soup and bread bowls, with yummy salads and some kind of dessert. This year was Clam chowder and Chicken Noodle soup! Jes, Nick and Cindy.
