For months he would scream if I put the towel on his head, but now that he knows it turns him into a wild animal he's thrilled. He runs around the house in it and loves to check himself out in the mirror. We have two towels one giraffe and one fish. I'm guessing I should be looking for more "fun towels". Adventures of the H Family. The life and times of Kelly, Eric and Little Man C. Monday, November 17, 2008. C got to "march" in the school parade for "literacy day" which is the PC term for Halloween. Good thing he was in his costume (Flounder from the Little Mermaid) at school because he didn't get to go trick-or-treating when we got home. Saturday, June 21, 2008. As a lifelong equestrian, I have been DYING to get Caroline on a horse! She enjoys her stuffed ponies and her ride-on ponies at home, but we needed to experience the real deal. Some of our neighbors told us about a great place called Clarkland Farm up in Howard County. http:/ www.clarklandfarm.com/. When we heard that they had pony rides. And a petting zoo, we couldn't wait to visit! So here it is. drumroll please. Caroline's first pony ride! So far so good! The ride is over?

Saturday, August 23, 2008. Caroline's mop finally got to me and we made an appointment to have it cut yesterday! I've been putting it off for too long (mostly because i didn't want her to look like a boy with a shorter cut! Here is the before - pretty bad, huh? We both donned capes, and then she sat very quietly and watched herself in the mirror:. And the after shots (which I forgot to take as we were leaving the salon so this is a few hours later.) MUCH better! Only slightly boyish, no?

It's hard to tell if C thought it was a "cool" experience. I'm positive he did NOT like the seeds and gooey stringy parts, but once it was lit I think he may have changed his mind.
