Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Well sort of happy. We all got packages from Grandpa and Grandma Jackson, and that WAS exciting. Michelle and Lena had fun opening and playing and reading stories. I made Valentine Cupcakes and delivered some to neighbors. Unfortunately, both girls were sick. And Michelle's is getting bad enough that she had to get an iv in her arm because she is so dehydrated. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. The Black Hills are Beautiful! We went on a family vacation over an extended Memorial Day Weekend to South Dakota. It was incredibly fun! We saw and did a lot! What struck me the most was how beautiful the Black Hills are. For some reason, I always pictured all of South Dakota like the never-ending prairie of the Badlands, but it is not so.
