A Little Something For Everyone. Baby chicks in the shop, we generally keep them in the shop for 2 to 3 weeks so we can monitor their health before putting them out in the barn. Don't forget the turkey eggs! We sell them too, when we get more than we need for hatching we offer them for sale. We have a customer in Red Deer who is allergic to chicken eggs but can eat turkey eggs, without a problem. They taste the same but are about twice the size and have "one tough shell". A Little Something For Everyone. I will have to get some pictures and the recipe in the next while. Shelly made some homemade soap using goat milk, it is fantastic! Cleans dirt very well and is soft on the hands. We have made soap for awhile and she found a recipe that uses goat milk and what a difference in the soap. A farm would not be complete without animals, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, goats, and cats. The 20 site Campground is situated amongst an old Growth Forest, very peaceful and quiet setting.
