Monday, March 11, 2013. When I heard Nathan's phone buzzing at 5:30 this morning, I knew it was going to be another snow day! The school district programs their calls to go out at 5:30 am to let families know that school has been canceled due to inclement weather. Great huh! We've had more snow days this school year than we've had in our 8 years of living in Rochester. Last Tuesday we got between 8 - 10 inches of heavy snow (trust me I shoveled it)! My sweet Michael who is such a good sport about life!

Friday, March 30, 2012. I was going through photos and found a lot of random pictures that I'd like to post. Enjoy! We discovered a new playground that was so much fun! Alina loved to slide by herself! Playing "Monkey in the Middle". The kids get out of school on Wednesdays at 1:00, so one Wednesday, I surprised them with an outing to a new park and then we tried out a new ice cream palor. The park had great views of the Bay Bridge. Haley and Audrey with their handprints. Beeps Burgers (go Beep Beep).

Me and my house. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Weeks Five, Six, almost Seven. Meanwhile, amidst chaos and stress and after a hundred frustrations and disappointments, we finally have a a hole in our lot. They started digging out our basement on Monday, and of course, after a crazy mild winter, we have had intermittent snowfall for three days, which has slowed it all down. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Sugar House - Time Lapse. I shot this video in Sugar House Park this past Thursday. I wanted to try and take advantage of the cloudy skies for some flat lighting. The only exception was the water drop- that was taken with a camera that was already set up on a tripod (I believe that camera was a D300s), and I just had to put my memory card in. I still had to time the picture just right though. Anyway, here are the pictures-. We all loved this station. I had texts and phone calls from both Emily Fletcher and Adrienne Dangerfield telling us about the "show" that was going on between their lots and how excited they all were that it was finally happening!
