Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Exhausted. but HAPPY! Jac here today :) What a crazy day. Chidi came to pick us up so we could go back to meet the founder of the Little Saints Orphanage (Palmgrove Estate, Lagos) and back to deliver presents for the babies. Thanks to my nan’s friends for hand making so many baby outfits and to Stef’s dad for all of the bibs and teddy bears! Again, we delievered a range of gifts for the children – from what we saw, they mostly needed clothing, so that was what we gave. I must...

Saturday, January 30, 2010. LOL The Senior students had to come and threaten the juniors with the cane/stick if they didn’t move to let us pass. They didn’t want anything except to say hello to me and shake my hand, but it was hectic and slightly overwhelming nonetheless. That’s why Stef and I retreated to the car! We had the kids who received other gifts coming up to us asking for caps! J Matthew’s sister and friends also used their own money to purchase 100 cancer council bandana’s and dona...My words ...

Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Last post for now. Ok, so we’ve had a few days to chill and how funny they have been! On the very day we came home exhausted from visiting 1500 school children we found out that we didn’t have electricity…. Not only had the generator busted that day, but some car had crashed into the power lines up the street so 1) no electricity from the government and 2) no electricity from private generator… WE ALMOST DIED!
