A Not So Little Place Called Africa. Monday, July 9, 2012. This past week we went on a holiday (vacation) to Hwange, Victoria Falls, and Antelope Park. In a nutshell, this week I jumped off a cliff, ate weird food, played with elephants, rode an elephant, and walked with lions! Emily doing the flying fox. The gorge swing ramp. 200 something feet down! Tara and I about to do the gorge swing. We were a little nervous! Climbing up the cliff after jumping. The bottom of the gorge. We got our faces painted!

A Not So Little Place Called Africa. Monday, July 2, 2012. Father's House Weekend Bash. This weekend Mary and the eleven kids from Father's House came to our house for a weekend bash! We played outside, watched The Lion King, went mini golfing, had a braai, and went to church. It was a great weekend! The kids really opened up to us and shared their individual personalities. A pile of mini quilts! I think I’ve been bitten by the mini bug, and the swapping bug, and the gifting to friend’s with little ones bug. Basically I just like to make minis.
