Most people are under the impression that "winos" like to swirl their glass of wine because.well, that's what you do and it's all a part of the pretension that comes along with drinking wine. Believe it or not, there IS a reason they do that! First of all, you need to coat the glass with the wine. The more surface area the wine grabs onto.the more intense the aroma. What about all of those crazy terms that people use to describe the "smell" of a wine?
