This website is intended as a showcase and database of my various interests, as well as the accomplishments of my friends and colleagues. I was born in 1972 in Belarus (formerly the Soviet Union) and grew up in Chicago. I have lived in New York City since 1992 when I transferred to NYU for my junior year of college. Other societies are perhaps no better than our own; even if we are inclined to believe they are, we have no method at our disposal for proving it. However by getting to know them better, we are enabled to detach ourselves from our own society. Not that our own society is particularly or absolutely bad.it is the only society we are in a position to transform without any risk of destroying it, since the changes, being introduced by us, are coming from within the society itself.

Wed Jan 14, 8:33 pm ET. CLEARWATER, Fla. – Wildlife officials said a rhesus monkey. Known to throw feces when mad is on the loose in Tampa Bay. Authorities have been trying to capture the primate since Tuesday afternoon, but it managed to evade a bucket truck and tranquilizer dart. The monkey is not considered dangerous.
