Jacob was definitely not too fond of the fireworks, the loud noise of them really scared him so he was able to participate for about 15 minutes as I plugged his ears but after that he just got too cranky so I had to bring him inside with my mom. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Jacob helping decorate the tree for the first time. We're having a Christmas party at our house this Friday night, we're inviting some of our closest friends from church and plan to have a steak dinner, James cooks the best steaks ever! I plan to make fresh broccoli, a pineapple caserole, and a new york pumpkin cheesecake, our friends are bringing a couple dishes as well and we invited our newlywed friends to stay the night so I am really looking forward to it.

Monday, January 26, 2009. I am so far behind on blogging. Here it is over a month past Christmas and I am just now getting Christmas pictures up, shame on me! My gracious, I had no idea what to do with them all, several of them are still unopened and stuffed into his closest, there is just no way he can play with them all! Here are several pictures from Christmas eve and day, next post will be all about the 1 year birthday we just celebrated yesterday, yep, the little man is 1 year old!

He is running and tripping and banging his poor little head on everything, I worry everyday that he is going to get hurt but I know its all part of growing up. I just can't believe he is almost 17 months, where has the time gone? Jacob also got his first haircut right before our vacation, its so wild it already needs to be cut again! Jacob's smash cake that I made. Goofy boy eating lunch. A 1 year collage I made. Helping mommy blow the candles out. The start of it all. This is pretty good. He wouldn't share with mommy. And this was the end result with a crazy sugar rush. The cake I made for Jacob's actual birthday the following day.

My Crazy Beautiful Life. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Allie's 2 year stats. Height 35 1/2 inches (89%). Weight 26 lbs 1 oz (42%- she's actually up here over her normal. I'm just not sure how since the kid hardly eats anything! Head 46.5 cm (24%- small head, but plenty of brains! She was of course, not happy with the shots that she got and screamed when the nurse tried to put a bandaid on the spots. Tim asked her if the doctor was nice and she said, "No! My Crazy Beautiful Life. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Baby looks good and is growing appropriately. Memorial Day weekend, we flew out to Phoenix to visit Mom and Dad F. Steve, Cassie, and the boys were there too so we got to spend some time with them also. We got to meet baby Luke for the first time. He's just as cute as the others boys. Allie had her first K.rispy K.reme donut while we were there. Tim asked her if she liked it and as she savored every bite, she said, "I like donut, WOW! Look at those faces!

Our Treasures from Afar

Sunday, September 03, 2017. Today's crew had a much easier day. We were sent to two homes, both of whom had already removed their soaked carpet. Our second house was a young Chinese family with a baby and a 3 year old. Their house was a year old and only got an inch of water. Still.ick. The mom was totally stressed out tho and left for a hotel with the children. It was a good thing because the house got very dusty once sheet rock started to be cut and removed. Let's do this, crew!
