We started out in the rain and although there was a sunny patch in the middle, the last 1 1/2 hours made up for the minutes of sun as we cycled to the finish in the pouring rain. What happened? Lots of rain, 5 boys, 4 support teams, 3 punctures, 2 adults along for the ride, 1 spare bike just in case, no canal diving. Smile for the camera. Waiting to move off. And the adventure begins.
