Brainlickers; I’m sure many of you have heard of them, or maybe even tried them. If you have then you will know that they taste sweet, sharp and a bit sticky. However, what you don’t know is that these shop-bought sweets are crazily acidic. In fact on the pH scale they score around a 1.7! Realise what sweets they are eating. Or rather what sweets they are sniffing! I for one won’t be looking to inject myself with sour sweets or try to sniff sherbet up my nose and I hope this doesn’t give you any ideas!
