I've had a few days to think about my first ultra experience, and since this was my first one, I figure that I'll write a pretty long report about it. Thoughts From A Ross Man". Friday, July 22, 2011. Update for the week. Since it is Friday evening I guess I'll give you an update for the week. I am running my first Ultra Marathon on August 13th in the mountains outside of Afton, Wyoming. It is 31 miles with lots of climbing and descending. So in preparation for this upcoming race my training goal for the week was to run a total of 40 miles with one long run on Friday. And I did it! Monday - 5 Miles. Tuesday - 5 Miles. Thursday - 2 Miles. Got my hair cut.

This is our incredible journey as a family of five in Paonia, Colorado. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. I have always known December to be busy but this one has seemed especially full! It probably has something to do with the kids getting older and being involved in more activities but I am looking forward to a slow down after the New Year. This is our incredible journey as a family of five in Paonia, Colorado. Monday, September 28, 2009. No State Fair this year. But Tulsa has a fair next week that is smaller and some people that I have talked to say it is nicer. Sounds good to me! It actually worked out well since Chris ended up with a migraine that afternoon and it was tough enough having all three kids Friday night at Isaac's baseball games. Isaac was very happy that they won both games that night and he has started HITTING the ball!

Sunday, January 6, 2008. Even though I was a bit lazy today, I was able to be involved in part of the plan God has in store for my life. Lydia and I started a new church today in Manhattan called the journey. It is l ocated. Center in the grand ballroom. There are three services held at 10am, 1130am and 1pm ( and for those of you who know sleeping is my favorite pass time. The songs were some of my favorite. They gave free Starbucks. Coffee, Jamie. New members were given books, Cds. I really enjoyed it!
