Living where I live, seeing the things I see, working with the people I'm working with; this kind of wealth is unfathomable right now.indeed I'm sure it always will be. If Adelson could even give away one of those hour's wage each day he could bring entire villages out of poverty forever- each day.

The Life of Jon. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. I have been reflecting as of late on the grace of God that has allowed me to be in this place, doing the work that I am doing. I have often felt unworthy to bear the title of missionary. People talk about the sacrifice of serving God in another country and how hard it must be to give up certain conveniences in order to do Christian work abroad, but for me, this life I’ve chosen isn’t a sacrifice. Am I worthy of this work? I hope my ramblings make some sense.
