The Lindstrom ancestry was associated with Kalmar Län (county). Kalmar Castle was the site of the formation of the Kalmar Union of 1397, a union of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. BECKMAN IN SWEDEN AND AMERICA. On November 15, 1873, Amelia (Emily) Sophia Carlsdotter Beckman married Carl Gustaf Jonsson Lindstrom. This occurred in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois, scene of several of my ancestral lines’ convergence.
