Bhajans, Kirtans, and Reflections. Hanuman Chalisa – Arise. August 30, 2017. August 31, 2017. This is a recording made of the Hanuman Chalisa using a melody that I learnt from my uncle, Navinbhai Damji, and was sung by my grandfather when he used to lead this. I have named it Arise as this version creates quite an intense energy and I find it really uplifting. We also sometimes lovingly call this version. Jaida was a beautiful, smart, compassionate, and athletic fourth grade student at Nathanael Greene Elementary School in Stanardsville, VA. On November 18, 2012, Jaida passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from Viral Myocarditis. While we were only given a short time to spend with our precious Jaida, her compassion for others and unyielding love for her family will never be forgotten.
