Faith Interrupted: September 2014
http://laura-lewis.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. To my baby girl on 9/11/01. A Day of Terror. To my daughter: you are not quite seven months. Oh, sweet girl, such horror has occurred in the United States today. Two commercial airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Moments later they collapsed. Two other planes crashed - one into The Pentagon - the other in Pittsburgh. This is an act of terrorism - by whom we do not know. The news coverage is unbelievable. It seems as if we are living a nightmare....

Soundtrack of my life: November 2011
http://beccalj.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2011. If hair could talk. Now that I've gotten that out of the way. This past Friday, I packed up my car and my Bean and we heading to the Southern Tier to visit my parents for the holiday. I arrived at lunch time after a fabulous drive with Norah thanks only to Blue's Clues! Wellhe did. Much to my apparent surprise. His long dreaded locks. Gone. It was only hair. So why did I cry? You were there.". And they would also tell you Denis and I have very different feelings about feet :].

Sunday, September 04, 2011. Strong Museum of Play. Last weekend we packed up our little Bug-a-boo and went on an adventure! I must admit, I really needed out of my house. there was a lot going on and I needed a really good distraction. I had been there numerous times, but I wasn't sure what to expect with a 16 month old! Denis had never been there, so it was all new for him as well. Here are some pictures of our fun afternoon together as a family! My name is Heather. Love you. glad you could go. I such a...

Soundtrack of my life: March 2012
http://beccalj.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I have been attempting to write a blog about South Africa for a few weeks now. I just can't seem to create a post that comes even close to equating with the experience that we had. I will continue to try though. But I fear it may never merit the moment when I can move my mouse over PUBLISH button. Only time will tell. You could have been playing with the ball for 5 minutes already if you would just put the shirt on! Isn't that what happened to the Israelites? We have rented out t...

Soundtrack of my life: October 2012
http://beccalj.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I will always remember and never forget. October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. A day that I wasn't even aware existed until just a few years ago. That night our big plans came crashing to a halt. I started bleeding. Nothing too alarming, but I knew something wasn't right. The bleeding worsened so we went to the doctor the next day and our fears were confirmed. our baby hadn't survived. Maria: the Hebrew meaning is "Bitter". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

If You're Happy and You Know It...: November 2008
http://timandkaycesmith.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
If You're Happy and You Know It. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Tim and I just got back last weekend from a trip to Sedona. Can you believe we haven't been away together alone since our honeymoon almost 2 years ago? It was a much needed break and so much fun. I am constantly amazed that you can live with someone every day, sleep with them every night, and still feel like you've not had enough time together! Who knew marriage could be so much fun? Tuesday, November 18, 2008. So that was a nice treat. An...

If You're Happy and You Know It. Saturday, July 17, 2010. I have no excuse. It has been almost 8 months since I have updated my blog! I actually don't even know how that happened.time has been such a blur since I last posted. Here are the big things you've missed:. More patient than his dad and I. In May we visited my family in South Carolina, which was so much fun. It was Bauer's first plane trip. I was of course very nervous, but he traveled like a pro. We drove to Florida to my mom's beach...Bauer had...

If You're Happy and You Know It...: December 2008
http://timandkaycesmith.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
If You're Happy and You Know It. Thursday, December 18, 2008. God has been teaching me so much about myself lately. What an enlightening and oftentimes. Process that can be! Ever since I was young, I've always joked that I am much more of a "realist" than an optimist. And as I've gotten older, that has only seemed to become more true. But the hardest question to answer about "realism" in life is- at what point should realism be superceded by the HOPE I have in the God of the impossible? That was a joke!

Faith Interrupted: The Gift of Hope
http://laura-lewis.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-gift-of-new-year-has-begun.html
Friday, January 9, 2015. The Gift of Hope. A new year has begun. Is there a dream tucked in the pocket of your heart, a dream so fragile that you refrain from taking it out to share, even with the dearest of friends, because – what if the dream crashes? It’s easier if it falls apart inside, isn’t it? Keeping hope hidden protects our pride, doesn’t it? The public mess of a dream deferred is spirit crushing, yes, but isn’t it also demoralizing? What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up. To this very...

Faith Interrupted: October 2012
http://laura-lewis.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 27, 2012. Those moments come.Moments when we feel like we're holding onto hope by our fingernails.Do you pray or even cry to God out loud, "Just give me something.Give me something - ANY -THING - to assure my hope.right. now,"? Uh-huh. I know that prayer. I know that ache. I hate it. But in those moments - in that prayer - God has been so faithful. He can't not be faithful. Love this Jesus Life we share! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT. THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE FOURTH MAN. It was quite a pers...
