DeBoer Days: August 2011
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Last week I was bitten by the crafting bug and felt the urge to make something for Elin. Unfortunately, my supply of 'girly' craft supplies (ie: pink fabrics, ribbons, glitter, etc.) is quite sad. I do, however, have a surplus of Broncos and sports-related fabrics. Dear God, please let the Broncos have a winning season". I can't wait for our next project, Susanne! Even Luke got in on the sewing action. It definitely helps that my model is SEW darn cute! DeBoer Days: January 2012
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. A little privacy please. Our little Luke isn't so little anymore! Just ask him. He's a Big Boy! It's official. No more baby - no bottles, no crib, and now (drumroll please) no diapers! We still put a pull up or diaper on him for naps and at night but he always wakes up dry. AND he has woken me up in the middle of the night twice to go to the bathroom. While I'm not thrilled to be up in the middle of the night I am impressed that he woke up knowing he needed to go potty! Later th...

DeBoer Days: Transformation
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2013/04/transformation.html
Friday, April 5, 2013. It's been fun for us to look at the 'before' pictures of the house and compare that view to now. We shake our heads a little at what it looked like when we bought this house and think about all the stages and changes since then. Although there is still work to do, it has been fun to see our vision become a reality. The Front Yard - June 2011. Side yard looking into the back yard - 2011. Oct 2012 (picture of when the grass was just starting to fill in). Closer view- March 2013.

DeBoer Days: Big Kids
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2013/05/big-kids.html
Wednesday, May 1, 2013. We celebrated Luke's 4th birthday a few weeks ago. He's FOUR! We had a great time celebrating Luke with friends and family. Matt got his first baseball glove from his dad on his fourth birthday so it was extra special that he got to give Luke his first baseball glove on Luke's fourth birthday. Luke thought it was pretty cool that he was just like dad! SO excited about some presents! Luke had a blast! He was only slightly worn out at the end of the day. I find it so cute and feel l...

Sunday, September 16, 2012. What do you think? Matt - Dec. 1982. Friends have often commented on how much they think Luke looks like Matt. Even total strangers have made mention of it. Now we have the pictures to prove it. There's no denying that Luke is a chip off the old block. It's a good thing Matt is such a good looking guy! Posted by DeBoer Days. Friday, September 14, 2012. Luke: "Can I have some money to put in my bank? Me: "You can do an extra chore and earn some money to put in your bank". Vande...

DeBoer Days: June 2012
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. We love this characteristic. We're praying that it lasts through adolescence. ( praying. Not holding our breath) :). Helping Daddy mow the lawn. After they mowed the lawn the DeBoer boys came inside, drank lemonade, watched the Yankees and congratulated each other on being such hard workers. Ah, I love my boys. Posted by DeBoer Days. Friday, June 8, 2012. When I was growing up my brother earned the nickname King Crud for always, always. Being filthy - covered. I love her mischievo...

DeBoer Days: Elinese
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2013/03/elinese.html
Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Elin has been talking more and more lately. It has been so fun (and slightly frustrating at times) to watch her as she starts to grasp the English language. Like most toddlers, she has put her own unique spin on several words. She often requires an interpreter, especially if she's trying to communicate with someone she doesn't talk with everyday, but she's getting there! Posted by DeBoer Days. DeBoer Days: April 2012
http://deboerdays.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. This is a little on the late side, but better late than never right? We had a wonderful Easter, as usual. We enjoyed an incredible Good Friday service and fabulous Easter morning service at our church. It is always such a joy to be able to worship with such an amazing community of believers, especially at Easter! Thanks to Auntie Andrea Luke and Elin were stylin' this Easter! The blessings just keep coming! Gearing up for the Easter egg hunt. There was at least one camera per 2 ki...
