Given budget and recent announcements and likely upcoming ones, it probably won't open any more doors for me (might have last year if I'd been smarter), but it's still really good news. This is unfortunate, as I currently have no transport and my teeth started hurting, which is very bad. Especially since by hurting I mean throbbing. I found a knit pattern, and I'm pretty sure I could crochet one too (probably with several false starts), but I'm not sure if that's teh kind of fabric I want. Am considering. I'm still applying to jobs, which is getting me regularly to right before interviews and not farther. I'm "working" in a lab, to get a new recommendation letter and keep my science credentials active. Yes, this means I'm basically running two jobs plus applying to jobs.
