We celebrated labor day up at the family cabin. Jake has been up there a few times this summer to work and it is getting SO CLOSE to getting finished! It was fun to see the deck and other things Jake has built/worked on this summer. We spent the day relaxing, roasting hot dogs and four wheeling. This past weekend we took Baby Calvie on his very first fishing trip. Jake rigged us up two poles and within minutes we had a couple bites. When we pulled our first one in, Cal wasnt quite sure what to think of this new creature that he had never before seen. He ended up loving it! Introducing our little one. I went into labor the night before I was to be induced and 24 hours later on March 16, 2012 at 5:56 pm our little baby Calvin was born weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. The entire 'birth experience' was so incredible and spiritual. I can't believe it has been 4 weeks! He is our little all-star and we love him very much! We feel so blessed to have him in our family! Halloween in our neck of the woods was a success. We had an eventful day visiting dad at the bank, hitting up the grandmas, the "park-or-treat" with cousins, AND the ward trunk-or-treat-sheesh! We even got one group of trick-or-treaters at our house (better than last year! The little guy had 2 costumes. A dinosaur- he is getting really good at making velociraptor noises these days. I can't believe this kid is almost 7 months old! Here are some of his 6 month pictures that were taken the other week. Calvin has grown up so much in the last month. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Adoption Update and Fundraiser. In the meantime, we are keeping busy. I am busy with Young Women’s and work. She loves to play mom! It's kinda cute that she'll find a random dish cloth somewhere and us it as a blanket. A perfect size. If she spots a baby somewhere, she freaks out!
