This is our story… this is our song. Thank you, God! August 27, 2013. So, I have about a million pictures of summer fun I want to upload and share. But, first, tonight I want to share our dinner moment. Tonight, we spread our little dinner, lit our little candle and sang “Thank you God, for giving us Gwen! This is our story… this is our song. November 7, 2013. We had a great, low-key Halloween. We had a couple of boxes unpacked when Mimi came on the scene here in Macon. The little green frog had a great time paying with his jack-o-lantern. Really, this is all the Halloween he wanted. But we did attend his first trunk -or-treat at Highland Hills . She helped entertain Logan while I tried to decide what to unpack, what to leave boxed up and send to the basement! Logan is loving playing outside, and there is a big backyard here to play in. This is our story… this is our song. October 19, 2013. This goodbye stuff is just a mess. We’ve had some really nice goodbye moments. Dinner and coffee with people we could squeeze in. This is our story… this is our song. October 28, 2013. With all the move-in stuff this past week, we did get to have some fun with our new church at the Fall Festival. Logan tried out the bouncy house during “toddler time” and liked it. But he really like the entrance to it – his own personal slide. Guess which pumpkin was Logan’s favorite in the pumpkin contest? Friday, April 18, 2014. New life in Spring makes it so easy to talk about Jesus and salvation. At home, we have planted seeds, the beginning of our first attempt at urban container gardening. I spent time with each child, individually, as they cut labels and gave our seeds a strong start. The conversation about planting seeds, watering, weeding and waiting for a harvest was rich! And we are in this church planting journey as a family, so our children are being equipped to share the gospel alongside us!

Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Blessings abound for all of our physical health here in the thin mountain air. We have been fortunate to have put the nebulizer in the top of the closet here and not gotten it down even once! So, when sickness invades, it's typically viral and hits hard. Alex was the victim this weekend. He laid around, basically silent, all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.VERY out of character for him! Weekend goal was to keep Reagan busy, busy so he could get extra rest and heal faster!
