Thursday, September 22, 2011. The kids are both loving school. Jacob is in first grade and so far (I know we are only 12 days into school) he is doing great and loving it. He thinks one lunch lady doesn't like him since she keeps moving him. He seems to be ignoring the fact that he is not behaving each time he is moved :). Thursday, September 22, 2011. We took the kids roller skating for the first time. I couldn't believe how expensive it was! 6 a person to get in, then another $3.50 a person for skates. It just seemed a bit much to me. We all had a great time. Jacob was starting to get the hang of it. Kaitlyn preferred skating on the carpet where she fell less often! Tuesday, September 27, 2011. The kids love to read the Geronimo Stilton books. They are chapter books about a mouse who is a newspaper reporter. The books are funny and a bit educational. Some of the books even have recipes in them. A recent one we read had a recipe for cheese fondue. While I didn't follow the recipe from the book, we did have fondue night! The kids loved it! Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Anna and Bethany had a combined birthday party. We had a great time with all the grandmas and grandpas, Laurie, Dean, Addison, and Liam. The weather was perfect and we played in the backyard all afternoon. It was great! I'm kinda sad that my mom had me in February. I'm considering celebrating my birth in the summer instead. Here is Bethany in one of her birthday outfits. Thank you, Grandma Maude! Goodness those children are getting big!

Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Adam had a birthday! I can't believe he's 8 years old. Grandma made him a special blanket that has bugs on the flannel- pretty cool! My big girl dreams of being an artist. Her drawing was on display at the Anderson Enrichment Center. I am so proud of her! The old lady that lives behind us rescued this jeep from the curb. Clever uncle Dean fashioned a battery for it, and now it provides hours of fun! My heart was melting! I love my tulips!

In this picture she is riding the Little People horse. Good luck with that. On December 4th Casey and I celebrated 12 years of wedded bliss. We even spent the night away from the children! OK, we were only 4 miles away, but still! He asked Abby. "Mom doesn't want to talk about it." she replied. He thought that was hilarious. Its been a long time.

She loves people, loves to sit on your lap and read, loves to sing. Here she is singing to Bethany during dinnertime. Other things Anna loves-. Baked beans and refried beans. Sucking her 2 fingers while holding her pink blankie. Changing her clothes numerous times a day. Making a mess with her toys and books.

Thursday, October 9, 2008. Having a hard time. Well people I'm having a hard time with work. I'm so tired,exhausted,brain dead,drained etc. When I punched out today at 5 ish. I had 51 hours and still have to work tomorrow. I think my brain and body is shutting down. I have a massive bladder infection. We had my 10 x 20 tent that we had 3 picnic tables under and a huge tarp that was supported up in the trees that was over our fire pit that was probably 40 x 20 so we made the best of a bad situation. Of course we always do. Got to love those community meals where you fix the food for everyone so you don't have to cook daily. I made breakfast on Monday and Dinner on Wednesday.
