Monday, June 25, 2012. A few months ago we decided to plan our summer calendar. We decided that we wanted to do some camping and figured we had better put it on the calendar or it just wouldn't happen! So we went ahead and scheduled it and I'm so glad we did! We arrived at Blackhawk campground and finally had some good luck! We found the perfect spot.it was even close to the bathrooms with Flushing toilets.something very important when you have a 4 little girls! Good thing we planned an easy/quick dinner!

Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Both Grandma's sure make Valentines Day special and exciting by sending packages! We were spoiled with lots of fun things and treats! Thanks Grandma Smith and Grandma Bennion! Thanks to our Grandpa's too.but I'm pretty sure Grandma had more to do with it! We decorated sugar cookies for Family Home Evening. Lydia loved her mask from Grandma Smith and wore it all night long! Hattie Loved getting slipped a few bits of cookie too:). I'm so grateful for all my sweet valentines!

Tuesday, January 18, 2011. We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I was sad that we weren't going to be able to spend it with any of our extended family but it ended up being very fun! Tales of the day to day lives of Dan, Julie, and Emma. Saturday, July 4, 2009. We had a relaxing holiday. Just hanging out at the old homestead. Not doing anything. It was great. We barbecued. For dinner, made ice cream clowns/ monkeys. Blobs, sang happy birthday dear America and then headed up to Dixon to watch the fireworks with our friends the Bairs. We fought traffic for about 10 seconds on the way home from the sun flower field where we parked. It was awesome! 160;Never light firecrackers.

Monday, June 3, 2013. On the road day 1. Today we began our 3 day move to Florida. Today we drove from our sweet little Starr Street house through Iowa and down through Missouri. We stopped in Kansas City for some lunch and to stretch our legs a bit. We were so sad to leave Nebraska and all the people we've come to love so much. But we are really excited for what's to come! It was a fun day and everyone was pretty happy in the car. So cheers to at least one good day on the road and hoping for more.
