Thursday, July 8, 2010. Here are some of the pictures from Sacramento. The girls really loved the fact that Bodhi had paint that they could play with outside on the sidewalk. They made a huge mess. Good thing that is was all washable! Also one of the days we got to take the kids to an amusement park that is meant for kids 8 and under. The kids had a ton of fun. They were able to ride all of the rides. They LOVED it! Also they got to jump on Bodhi's trampoline! We ate a ton of way YUMMY food!

Monday, January 25, 2010. Well I finally got to Kaytlin and Gracie's bedrooms! I Did Gracie's in a flower and butterfly theme. I really like it. I think it turned out really well! And Kaytlin's room was done in Hannah Montana. So on her walls I did stars and guitars. Both girls really like them, and the best part about it is that I did not have to spend any money. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Mesa Falls Half Marathon. Well, John did it! He finished his first 1/2 marathon on Saturday, August 23. He started off at 8:30am and finished his 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 33 minutes. How awesome is that! Braxton and John before the race at the starting line. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Camping in the Backyard. Can I just say again. How much fun it is to be a mommy? I love watching John and Braxton together. They are so sweet - John has got to be the best daddy. In the whole world! Last Friday, John set up the tent in our backyard. Saturday, June 7, 2008. Braxton is learning new things every day! Here is an update on some of the new things he is doing and saying. This week he has figured out how to unlock the dishwasher. and yes, he crawls in and sits on the door! He also knows exactly what goes in the dishwasher - he likes to take my clean. Silverware out of the drawer and put it in the utensil basket in the dishwasher. What a big helper he is! Speaking of big helper, he also loves to help me clean! Obsessed with the vaccuum!

Thursday, June 11, 2009. If you are ever in need of figuring out what certain kitchen utensils/gadgets are used for. I have a very smart 2 1/2 year old that would be happy to help out. While I was making our lunch today, Braxton cleaned out one of my kitchen drawers. As he pulled out each thing, he would either ask about the item, or exclaim what it was used for. Here are a few of the items. Although we have only made cookies a few times with Braxton, he knew immediately that these were for cookies.

Thursday, January 22, 2009. This morning my visiting teachers came. And while I was listening to the lesson, Braxton went into our room - and shut the door. Normally I don't worry too much about this because he is usually just putting on my high heels. Well today the bathroom door was open. And he got into my makeup - specifically my mascara. This is the end result -. I was laughing so hard when I opened the door and saw Braxton! I just couldn't stop laughing! This boy has skill! John, Laura and Braxton.

Friday, October 31, 2008. So remember how cute Braxton was in his lion costume last year? I was thinking this year would be even more fun with even more cute costumes. but I was wrong! This year all I could find was dorky costumes. I hate how they put the face on the top of the head. their face should be the face. isn't that why we have face paint? I really wanted Braxton to be a monkey this year since he is so in love with Curious George. but all of the monkey costumes were really ugly. It was so funny!

Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Learning the Letters of the Alphabet. Braxton is wanting to know about anything and everything these days. All day long I get these two questions: "What's that? It's much cuter in his little voice and it sounds more like "whatsat? I love that he is so curious and eager to learn about his world. The surprise for me? He has been asking about individual letters in his books. His favorite books to find the letters are in these "Bright Baby" books that were given to us as a gift.
