Thursday, January 17, 2013. That's a lot of updates! Between Christmas, my anniversary (6 years! Celebrating the New Year, Jaden's surgery, my birthday (28! Having my mom here (which has been nothing short of awesome! Getting ready for Jaden's birthday (2! Planning a family reunion to Disney World (including a Disney Cruise! And preparing for a move (more about that in a future post), there just hasn't been the time to update the blog. But I pushed it to the front of my list today, so enjoy!

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. 13 Weeks of Fun: Week 1. It was hot and crowded the day we went to Hogle Zoo, but we had a blast! And yes, the child leash (a.k.a. the child safety tether) does make another appearance. :). That's my mom, my dad, Robbie, our family friend Mykah, and Jaden. Mykah and Jaden are the best of friends! Mykah insisted helping push Jaden's stroller up the hill. :). Jaden found this Beanie Baby Snake that he has been quite attached to. That snake got dragged all over that zoo that day!

Thursday, November 8, 2012. At Least He Understands the Ultimate Goal. As I was putting away the dishes this morning, I saw Jaden playing in the bathroom. Not a big deal - he usually likes to play with the lid on the toilet paper holder. But then my mommy senses started tingling and I knew something wasn't quite right. At least he gets that the peepee needs to go in the potty, but we'll just have to work on his delivery. PPS Yes, we both washed our hands THOROUGHLY after this event.

This was my team, and we won first place! Grandpa Rod giving out prizes from the treasure hunt. Everyone gathered for the Lip Sync/Talent Show. This weekend since we weren't able to make it to my family reunion we decided to still go camping a night. We loaded up and headed for Corral again. There are still tons of little frogs. Friday, September 26, 2014. Also, it was easy to blog before when I kept the computer near the tv/play area where Jaden was. I could easily sit and blog while watching him play with his toys. Now, it's in the basement of a two story house, and Jaden and I are all over the house playing with toys, eating, watching tv, or out in the backyard, so I'm not by my computer very often. It seriously took me 3 tries to type "anymore" correctly! But, this is a journal of sorts, and probably needs to be kept up.

Saturday, July 11, 2015. Alaskan Cruise - Day 2. Day two was a day at sea. It was so relaxing. We woke up in the morning around 8:00 am (what a treat :) , worked out in the nice workout gym (alongside 200 other cruisers : , read more books, napped, walked around the ship, ate delicious food, and chatted and laughed.
