Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Last week Sam turned 2! I never thought I would be a mother to a two year old. He's beautiful and so fun to be around. I mean he's handsome, right? We had a Lightning McQueen (from the movie Cars) cake and friends over. He's obsessed with "Queen" and always carries as many Queen cars around as he can. It was SO NICE to see people that I knew from before my "Lincoln Life." We played a lot and went on walks. I love Sid and Eva - they are the best "in laws" I could ask for. Sunday, October 17, 2010. Imagine the corner of a small kitchen. Imagine a small square table butted against the corner to make room for two chairs and a high chair. Imagine a nice window in that corner. And a nice cool breeze blowing of your face while you feed your beautiful baby boy. Then imagine wanting that window closed. The beloved MAC computer is on the table. The much needed tall glass of water is also on the table. Did I mention is it that beautiful boy's first birthday? I reach for the window.

Saturday, August 27, 2011. When did we get here? As usual, I'm not good at keeping up. But here's a bit of info from today. We had a stake softball tournament today and our ward WON! I only played in a scrimmage game, so I can't claim too much credit, but it's my claim to fame. :). While I was playing in the game Jake was with Sam. Sam actually had a good time watching. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. My poor little Jack has horrible Acid Reflux. Last night he cried for 6 hours in pain! He is on his max dose of meds for reflux, zantac in the morning and prevacid at night. The meds still don't fix it though. It is so heart breaking and sad to see my baby in pain and not be able to do anything to make it better. He is also such a strong baby, as soon as he has a break in the pain he is all smiles! Monday, December 3, 2012. We were lucky enough to have Jake's sister McCall come visit for the weekend in September and my parents came a few weeks later. We love having visitors. hint hint! We had a very sporty weekend when McCall came. We went to the Pirates game and saw a no hitter! It was very exciting and a very fast baseball game! Saturday we went to the WVU football game.
