Big, nasty blisters from picking up plates that have been put in the Broiler (! To keep the steaks warm! Also, I've been having mad weird dreams. I sometimes just want to spend all my money on beer and concerts and records and video games. I want to dump my savings account and waste it on nonsense and start over again. I want to play fuzzy guitar for a lofi punk band consisting of me and my friends. I want to work as a waiter for the next few years and live a dirtball lifestyle. sometimes.

Fall's here, but winter seems to be on its way pretty quick. I used to write, not a lot, not constantly, but I used to write. This is the most I've mustered since June. I'm tricking myself into reading again by reading horror, but I used to really read. The New Yorker subscription is on the way, so that will help too.
